Focarile discusses alternative grading frameworks on podcast
Teresa Focarile, director of educational development in the Center for Teaching and Learning and adjunct faculty member in the Department of Theatre, Film and Creative Writing, was a recent guest on The Grading Podcast. In the episode, "Building a Classroom About Learning: Alt Grading in an Introduction to Theater Arts Class," Focarile shared how she has implemented alternative grading frameworks in her THEA 101 course, and how this approach to grading has led to improved student learning and motivation.
