Pueblo Police Detectives Investigating Death at City Wastewater Treatment Facility

Pueblo, CO- On Sept. 11 at approximately 2 p.m. the Pueblo Police Communications Center received a rescue call for service at the City of Pueblo Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 1300 Queens Ave. Pueblo Fire rescue arrived on the scene, attempted lifesaving measures, and declared a male with an apparent gunshot wounddeceased. The coroner will identify the deceased and determine manner of death after the appropriate notifications.

Detectives with the Pueblo Police Department Crimes Against Persons Unit and Crime Scene Investigators Division responded quickly to investigate the incident. There does not appear to be a danger to the public. This is an ongoing investigation.
