Reps. Segun Adeyina, El-Mahdi Holly to Host Nigerian Governor as Special Guest at AFRICON 2025 Welcome Reception at State Capitol
ATLANTA - State Representatives Segun Adeyina (D-Grayson) and El-Mahdi Holly (D-Stockbridge), co-chairs of the Georgia-Africa Legislative Caucus, will host Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos State, Nigeria, as a special guest at the AFRICON 2025 Welcome Reception event on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
"This visit is a unique opportunity to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Georgia and Lagos State," said Reps. Adeyina and Holly. "We look forward to welcoming his excellency and his delegation to the Capitol and exploring opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth."
This event is a part of Governor Sanwo-Olu's official itinerary for AFRICON 2025 hosted by Amplify Africa and the Fidelity Nigeria International Trade & Creative Connect (FNITCC).
