Minister Shahin met with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski

Minister of Foreign Affairs Varsen Shahin met with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, in the presence of Ambassador Mahmoud Khalifeh and members of the Palestinian Embassy team.

The two sides discussed political and humanitarian developments in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations, including activating several joint memoranda of understanding and holding new rounds of political consultations and ministerial committees between the two countries.

Minister Sikorski reaffirmed Poland's steadfast support for a two-State solution and the importance of upholding international law to protect the rights of the Palestinian people. Minister Shahin expressed appreciation for Poland's support for Palestine in international forums, as well as its developmental and humanitarian assistance, and emphasized Palestine's commitment to further developing the partnership between the two countries.
