Enhancing Security Solutions for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses Through Partnership

WithSecure announced that its WithSecure Elements EDR and EPP Premium, along with WithSecure Managed Detection and Response (MDR), have been adopted for "IT Expert Services", the IT support service provided by FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp. Service delivery will begin in February 2026, enabling both companies to offer more advanced endpoint security to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through their strengthened partnership.

Cybersecurity threats continue to grow in scale and sophistication year after year. SMBs, in particular, often have fewer resources to dedicate to security than large enterprises, making them more vulnerable to targeted attacks and ransomware. Meanwhile, supply-chain attacks and insider threats are increasing across organizations of all sizes, turning the risk of data leaks and operational downtime into a serious concern. As a result, implementing advanced security measures has become an urgent priority - even for SMBs.

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) continuously monitors various activities on endpoints, detecting, recording, and analyzing suspicious behavior and unknown threats in real time. This makes it possible to identify attack vectors and traces that traditional antivirus solutions often miss - such as targeted attacks and malware infiltration - and enables rapid initial response. Managed Detection and Response (MDR) builds on EDR by providing 24/7 monitoring, analysis, and response by professional security analysts. Even organizations lacking in-house security expertise can receive high-level threat detection and incident response from external specialists. This allows both large enterprises and SMBs to implement advanced security measures despite limited resources, helping minimize damage and accelerate recovery in the event of a cyberattack.

For over a decade, WithSecure has provided WithSecure Elements EPP as the PC-client antivirus service within 'beat' - a one-stop, low-cost solution delivering secure, simple, and convenient network environments for FUJIFILM Business Innovation. More than 100,000 devices currently run EPP through this service. By newly providing EDR and MDR as the core of endpoint security for IT Expert Services, WithSecure can support more SMBs in building robust security environments.
