Architectural Digest Middle East Concludes Inaugural AD Summit

Architectural Digest Middle East concluded its first-ever AD Summit, held on 6 October 2025 at Rosewood Doha. The Summit brought together leading architects, designers, artists, and cultural voices to explore how heritage, innovation, and storytelling are shaping the Gulf's creative identity.

Moderated by Aidan Imanova, Head of Editorial Content, and Mona Basharat, Editorial Assistant, AD Middle East, the event featured three thought-provoking panels: "Qatar: The Past, Present and Future," "The Culture of Collaboration," and "Storytelling: A Soft Power."

Highlights included speakers Abdulrahman Al Muftah, Bouthayna Baltaji, Zainab AlShibani, Mohammed Al-Khater, Maryam AlHomaid, Hadeer Omar, Maysaa Al Mumin, Marwane Soumer, and Ghada Al Khater, who shared insights on design, cultural identity, and the power of collaboration across disciplines.

The Summit echoed Qatar's growing commitment to cultural exchange and creative dialogue, aligning with national initiatives such as Qatar Creates, Design Doha Biennale, and the upcoming Art Basel Qatar.
