Mayor Parker will deliver remarks at the Visit PA Playmakers 2026 Pep Rally, a statewide kickoff celebrating Pennsylvania's historic year ahead. The event convenes leaders and partners behind major events, including the MLB All-Star Game, PGA Championship, FIFA World Cup, and NFL Draft alongside mascots, performers, and the newly unveiled Visit PA Playmakers to build excitement leading into 2026.

Mayor Parker Commemorates Transgender Day of Visibility with City Hall Flag Raising

Mayor Parker will join the Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs and City leaders for a ceremonial flag raising at City Hall honoring the contributions of transgender people in Philadelphia and across the nation. The event will include remarks from the Executive Director of the Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs and the presentation of a mayoral citation, while also raising awareness of ongoing discrimination facing the LGBTQ+ community.
