SEATTLE, September 28, 2026 - Amazon Music and Shakira todayannounced Amazon Music Presents: Shakira Live from Madrid, a global livestream from the final stop of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour at her ES Latina European Residency in Madrid. Airing Saturday, October 3, the performance marks Shakira's first full-concert global livestream. Fans can tune in beginning at 11:45 AM PT / 2:45 PM ET (USA), 12:45 PM CDMX (Mexico City), 3:45 PM BRT (Brazil), 7:45 PM BST (UK), 8:45 PM CEST (Madrid, France, Germany, Italy), 12:15 AM IST (India, October 4) on the Amazon Music app, Prime Video, the Amazon Music app on Fire TV and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, no subscription required.
The livestream is a centerpiece of The Women Shaping Latin Music, the 2026 edition of Music Connects Us, the annual Amazon Music celebration of the artists, sounds and cultural movements shaping Latin music. This year, the program honors the women who paved the way, celebrates those moving music forward today and creates opportunities for those who come next. Shakira's Madrid performance brings the story to a global stage, while new initiatives in education and commerce carry it beyond the concert.
As Shakira enters the final chapter of Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, she brings to Madrid music born from a deeply personal period of resilience and reinvention. Women around the world made its message their own, adding another chapter to Shakira's three-decade career crossing languages, genres and borders. Shakira's music continues to connect with listeners today. On Amazon Music, "Dai Dai" is the No. 1 song worldwide in 2026 year to date, and Shakira is the most-listened-to Latina artist worldwide over the same period.[1]
"The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour has become more than I could ever have imagined, and I am so proud of it. I'm so excited to take it even further by sharing this special evening with fans around the world, together with Amazon Music," said Shakira.
"Shakira has spent more than three decades showing the world what is possible when a Latin woman refuses to accept boundaries around her music, her ambition or her influence. She has helped change how Latin artists are seen on the global stage while using her voice to create opportunities for others. That makes her a powerful embodiment of The Women Shaping Latin Music. This celebration honors everything she has built while looking forward, using the reach and breadth of Amazon to connect music, culture and opportunity in a way that goes far beyond a single moment," said Rocío Guerrero, Director of Music, Latin-Iberia, Amazon Music.
TURNING INFLUENCE INTO OPPORTUNITY
Las Mujeres Facturan Con Amazon Music. Inspired by the lyric "las mujeres ya no lloran, las mujeres facturan" ("women don't cry, they cash in"), the Las Mujeres Facturan con Amazon Music storefront on Amazon.com helps women entrepreneurs bring their businesses to more customers. It is a shopping destination featuring products from women-owned businesses, with a spotlight on Latina-owned brands, alongside merchandise and physical music from female Latin artists, all connecting with customers worldwide. The storefront also features a dedicated space that lets customers meet the women behind the brands in their own words, turning discovery into real support.
Las Mujeres Ayudan Con Amazon Music. Thisbuilds on Shakira's longstanding commitment to education through her non-profit, Fundación Pies Descalzos. Together with Amazon Music, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and women-in-tech non-profit Laboratoria, the foundation is launching AWS Entrena Latinas, an initiative expanding access to technology skills across Latin America through free training in cloud computing and artificial intelligence, entirely in Spanish. The program's goal is to reach 1 million women by 2028, driving toward 50% female participation in a field where women hold only 26% of tech roles. Starting in Colombia, students and mothers connected to Fundación Pies Descalzos will be able to take foundational courses and pursue AWS AI certifications, helping them prepare for new career opportunities in music and technology.
MORE WAYS TO EXPERIENCE SHAKIRA'S STORY
The celebration continues with a new Amazon Music Original remix of Shakira's "Dai Dai Spanish Remix (Amazon Music Original)," produced by RVSSIAN, and an Amazon Exclusive orange and yellow marble vinyl edition of Laundry Service celebrating the album's 25th anniversary, available only at Amazon.com. Beginning today, fans can also explore El Mixtape, personally curated by Shakira, brings together music from the women artists who have shaped her, and fans can also stream [Re]Discover Shakira to revisit the songs that defined her rise, with On Tour, celebrating music from the last chapter of her global tour.
In Madrid, during her European Residency, ES Latina serves as the onsite expression of the global celebration. At its center is El Museo Shakira by Amazon Music, guided by Alexa, fans move through interactive spaces that trace Shakira's journey across her milestones in music, fashion, culture and social impact. An all-women Amazon Music stage reimagines some of her biggest songs live, celebrating the women shaping Latin music today. Las Mujeres Facturan Con Amazon Music and Las Mujeres Ayudan Con Amazon Music will also extend onsite at the festival through dedicated experiences, including a space showcasing local Latina-owned businesses and AWS Entrena Latinas, bringing the celebration's social impact initiatives directly to fans.
On October 3, Shakira's Madrid performance will bring fans together across borders. The music and programs surrounding it carry forward the message behind this chapter of her career: when women have the chance to be heard and the tools to move forward, what they create can reach far beyond one stage.
