Proposed Discharge of Dredged or Fill Material Associated with the LaPrele Dam Reconstruction

Under Sections 404 and 401 of the Clean Water Act, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District (Corps) and the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ) are evaluating a permit application and certification request to reconstruct LaPrele Dam and re-establish the 20,000-acre foot reservoir to original location and capacity. The Corps and WDEQ are providing a 30-day comment period to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and solicit written comments. The full public notice for this proposal and instructions for submitting written comments may be viewed on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers website at: https://rrs.usace.army.mil/rrs. Written comments must be received on or before 5:00 PM on March 06, 2026 to be considered.
