Bake, Share and Spread Joy: New York Times Cooking’s Cookie Week is Back!

Bakers start your oven timers - New York Times Cooking's fifth annual Cookie Week starts Sunday, Dec. 1!

Every year, New York Times Cooking celebrates Cookie Week (Dec. 1-8) by releasing seven new cookie recipes at the start of the week and a video each day. It's a beloved tradition, with devoted bakers nationwide eagerly participating - and some even taking the day off to bake every recipe and share their favorites with our passionate Cooking community.

For this year's weeklong cookie extravaganza, we have new and delicious holiday cookie recipes to bake and share with loved ones, from your favorite bakers like Melissa Clark, Vaughn Vreeland, Eric Kim, Sohla El-Waylly, Claire Saffitz and others. Plus, some holiday surprises and delights to help you spread the joy of holiday baking.
