WASHINGTON - This morning, Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil (WI-01) joined Fox News' America's Newsroom to discuss the investigation into Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue's fraud prevention safeguards.

"ActBlue was not forthcoming with my request for information in 2023."

"My biggest concern is that foreign individuals, foreign actors, foreign intelligence agencies could be funneling money into U.S. elections utilizing online donation platforms such as ActBlue."

"There should be a core principle that no foreign funds are entering U.S. elections."

Background:

On April 14, Chairman Steil, Chairman Jordan, and Chairman Comer sent a letter to ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones demanding the Democratic fundraising platform fully comply with the Committees' joint investigation and turn over all previously requested material, as well as additional documents and communications. This followed recent reporting from the New York Times that alleges ActBlue may have intentionally misled Congress.
