OCCASIONAL PRESS RELEASE – Option en Sol.One join forces in defense related developments

Leuven, Belgium - 30 june 2026 - 7:30 CET AM, Option NV, Geldenaaksebaan 329, 3001 Heverlee (Euronext Brussels: OPTI) today announced the award of a first commercial contract with Belgian defence-technology company Sol.One, under their strategic framework agreement signed in November 2025.

Sol.One has an intelligent cloud AI solution SolFusion, to which its advanced drones like the Saboteur connect for long distance operations with the ground to keep humans in the loop, and to coordinate complex missions with other drones. SolFusion combines inputs from hundreds and even thousands of sources. The next logical step for better decision making is to connect a large number of ground-based sensors to SolFusion.

Option and Sol.One will join forces for the development and use of the new Cloudgate Nexus platform, taking advantage of the Cloudgate advantages to connect new sensors to the Sol.One's SolFusion product.

Revenues associated with this contract will be recognized during the second half of 2026. Thereafter, the collaboration is expected to grow as deployment to scale follows the current integration effort.

Sol.One further announces its industrial development with plans to establish a new 8,000 m2 production facility, expandable to up 24,000 m2.
