MoDOT: U.S. Route 160 Culvert Replacement in Ash Grove & Greene County Route F Bridge Replacement

Ash Grove, Greene County - Those interested in the U.S. Route 160 Culvert Replacement Project in Ash Grove & Greene County Route F Bridge Replacement Project south of Ash Grove are invited to a public meeting to discuss proposed improvements and project information on Monday, March 2, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

The come-and-go style meeting will be held 4:30 - 6 p.m., Monday, March 2, at the Ash Grove High School Library, 100 N. Maple Lane, Ash Grove. No formal presentation is planned. Those who attend may come at any time between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to learn about the project and ask questions.

Those unable to attend the in-person hearing can view exhibits and get project information by visiting www.modot.org/southwest. Comments on this project can be mailed in, emailed, or submitted online through the project website until Monday, March 16. For those unable to access the online meeting, contact MoDOT's Southwest District Office, and accommodations will be made to share the information and gather feedback.

Project highlights:

• U.S. Route 160 Culvert Replacement
• • Build a new Route 160 culvert at Hamilton Creek, between Thurmond Avenue and Perryman in Ash Grove. The new culvert is a double 8-foot-by-4-foot concrete box.
  • Proposed Route 160 width will be widened to accommodate 4-foot shoulders
  • The proposed culvert project will widen 10 feet on each side of the existing road to accommodate shoulders and future pedestrian paths along the roadway
• Greene County Route F Bridge Replacement
• • Replace the Greene County Route F bridge over Sac River between County Route 114 and County Route 116 south of Ash Grove
  • New bridge will be 10 feet wider and 9 feet longer than the current bridge
