CABEI promotes infrastructure improvement and road development in Argentina through the Connectivity and Road Development Program in the Province of Entre Ríos

Tegucigalpa, November 13, 2025.- The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) approved an investment of up to US$27.5 million to the Republic of Argentina to finance the Connectivity and Road Development Program of the Province of Entre Ríos (CONDVER).

The initiative, which has the support and sovereign guarantee of the Argentine Nation, includes the reconstruction and paving of key sections of Provincial Route A08 and will indirectly benefit more than 1.2 million people. Its objective is to improve connectivity, facilitate access between localities, production centers, and essential services, and increase road safety and traffic flow, contributing to more efficient circulation and reduced travel times.

Within this framework, 5.8 kilometers of new road will be built, and an additional 14.8 kilometers will be rehabilitated, along with the construction of 110 meters of bridges and 250 meters of retaining walls. These projects will enhance the development of the Tala, Gualeguaychú, Islas de Ibicuy and Gualeguay departments by stimulating the regional economy, strengthening territorial integration, improving access to public services, and increasing the value of land and properties.

With this operation, CABEI reaffirms its commitment as a strategic ally of sustainable development in Argentina, promoting projects that boost connectivity, strengthen local economies, and improve the quality of life of communities.
