800 Mission Ave – Aegis Senior Living Now Open
On Friday August 22nd Aegis Senior Living San Rafael officially opened its doors, introducing 101 new studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom residences in the heart of downtown. The Mission-style building, which was designed to echo San Rafael's historic architecture transforms a site that had been vacant for years.
When fully occupied Aegis will welcome over 100 residents and employ approximately 200 staff members, adding new vitality to downtown San Rafael. With a wellness center, theater, dining facilities, and shared gathering spaces, Aegis will provide it's Senior residents and their families a place designed for comfort, care, and connection. For the community, this project represents meaningful progress towards achieving the City's housing goals, while also enriching the fabric of daily life in San Rafael.
Residents will be moving in starting September 2nd, with a Grand Opening scheduled for September 6th.
