Sept. 10, 2025 - Northwestern Colorado - Electrical systems, signage, and signal heads receive updates
Carbondale - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and prime contractor, Morton Electric, will begin upgrading the traffic signals at the intersection of Colorado Highway 82 (CO 82) and Catherine Store Road starting Monday, Sept. 15.
The project team will replace the signal equipment on the existing traffic poles, including upgraded electrical systems, signage and signal heads. Additional new striping and crosswalk pavement marking will also be implemented at the intersection.
