The 44th Bi-Annual New Jersey Film Festival

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (January 21, 2026) - Cinema enthusiasts can experience the 44th Bi-Annual New Jersey Film Festival this winter. Running from Jan. 23 through Feb. 22, the festival brings a diverse lineup of independent films to both the big screen at Rutgers University and to home viewers everywhere.

For those unable to attend in person, the festival's hybrid model provides 24-hour video-on-demand access for most titles on their scheduled dates. The event is sponsored by the Rutgers Film Co-op/New Jersey Media Arts Center and the Rutgers Program in Cinema Studies. See the complete schedule here.
