COLUMBUS, OH -This week, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) announced an additional $7.9 million in Congressional funding for locally driven community projects across Central Ohio. These investments support housing, infrastructure, transportation, and flood mitigation projects throughout Ohio's Third Congressional District. This funding is made possible by H.R. 7148 - Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026 which passed and was signed into law on February 3, 2026.
"Housing is very personal to me," said Congresswoman Beatty."I'm proud to have secured $7.9 million in federal funding to support housing, as well as the infrastructure and transportation projects that make neighborhoods livable, connected, and economically strong."
"These investments reflect what happens when local priorities are matched with federal partnership," Beatty continued. "They ensure communities have the resources they need to move projects forward and deliver real results for residents."
