SR-78/I-15 Connectors Closed Evenings July 19 – July 22

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans will close multiple Interstate 15 (I-15) and State Route 78 (SR-78) connectors for roadwork on the SR-78 Asset Management Project starting on Sunday, July 19, through Wednesday, July 22.

• Northbound I-15 to Westbound SR-78: Connector closed Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. Motorists may continue north on I-15, exit at West El Norte Parkway and turn right, turn right again on North Broadway, and connect to westbound SR-78/East Lincoln Parkway.
• Northbound I-15 to Eastbound SR-78: Connector closed Sunday, July 19, and Monday, July 20, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists may connect to the westbound SR-78, exit at Nordahl Road, and turn left to the eastbound SR-78 on-ramp.
• Southbound I-15 to Westbound SR-78: Connector closed Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists may continue south on I-15, exit at West Valley Parkway, turn left, turn left again on North Broadway, and connect to SR-78 at East Washington Avenue.
• Eastbound SR-78 to Northbound I-15: Connector closed Sunday, July 19, and Monday, July 20, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists may continue east on SR-78, exit at northbound Centre City Parkway, continue north under the bridge to the westbound SR-78 on-ramp, and then connect to northbound I-15.
• Eastbound SR-78 to Southbound I-15: Connector closed Sunday, July 19, and Monday, July 20, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists may continue east on SR-78, exit at northbound Centre City Parkway, continue north under the bridge to the westbound SR-78 on-ramp, and then connect to southbound I-15.
• Westbound SR-78 to Southbound I-15: Connector closed July 21 and July 22 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists may continue westbound on SR-78, exit at Nordahl Road, turn left to the eastbound SR-78 on-ramp, and then connect to northbound I-15.
• Westbound SR-78 to Northbound I-15 Closure: Connector closed July 21 and July 22 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists may continue westbound on SR-78, exit at Nordahl Road, turn left to the eastbound SR-78 on-ramp, and then connect to southbound I-15.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
