Traffic Delay – Bell Road
Location: Bell Road (eastbound), between Robie Street and Summer Street
Date: Oct. 2 to Oct. 3
Time: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Work details: This work involves utility connections and asphalt repairs related to the QEII expansion project.
Traffic impact: Bell Road westbound lane will remain open. Drivers should expect delays and use alternative routes whenever possible. A marked detour will be provided through Robie Street, Veterans Memorial Lane and Summer Street.
Pedestrian impact: The sidewalk along the north side of Bell Road will remain open.
Cycling impact: The eastbound bike lane will be closed. Cyclists are asked to use Cogswell Street and Trollope Street as detour.
Transit impact: Routes 9A and 9B will be impacted due to this construction. Stop - Bell Road after Robie St (6291) will be closed and passengers are requested to proceed to Stop - Summer Street after Bell Rd (8363).
