April Innovation Month: Dream It, Build It, Launch It!

The City of Temecula and the Temecula Valley Entrepreneurs Exchange (TVE²) Entrepreneurial Resource Center is celebrating April Innovation Month, in alignment with Riverside County Innovation Month, with a dynamic lineup of events designed to support local startups, small businesses, and aspiring entrepreneurs. With expert-led workshops, networking opportunities, and valuable business resources, TVE² provides insights and connections to help businesses thrive. All workshops are free and held in person at the TVE² (43200 Business Park Drive).

  • Using AI in the Workforce (starts Thursday, April 10, 2025): This two-day workshop will take an exciting deep dive into Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ChatGPT, where attendees will master AI Fundamentals, Enhancing their Prompting Skills, Applying AI to Real Business Tasks, Refining their AI Skills, Scaling AI in their Workflow, and Business Automation. This workshop is being held in collaboration with Vivians.io.
  • Southwest Region Quick Pitch Event (Thursday, April 10, 2025): The cities of Temecula, Wildomar, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, and Menifee will be hosting their annual Southwest Region Quick Pitch Event. Participants will have the opportunity to present a five-minute pitch to a panel of judges. The first-place winner will receive a grand prize of $1,500, generously provided by Barrett Business Services, Inc., DIY Divorce, and U.S. Bank. The winner will advance to the Riverside County Innovation Month Grand Finale, competing for the countywide grand prize. The winner of the county-wide pitch will have the unique opportunity to compete at the Startup World Cup with an opportunity to win $1,000,000 in equity! The event will be held at The Corporate Room, 34846 Monte Vista Drive, Wildomar CA 92595.
  • From Surviving to Thriving: The YouTube Advantage for Your Business (Tuesday, April 15, 2025): This 90-minute workshop is designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners who are looking to transform their businesses with YouTube. This workshop will show attendees why YouTube is the ultimate tool for marketing success, teach practical tips to optimize videos and reach an ideal audience, share revenue strategies like affiliate marketing and lead generation, and help avoid common pitfalls with YouTube. Attendees will get access to exclusive resources, including a YouTube Video Outline Template and tool recommendations. This workshop is being held in collaboration with Kathy Sizemore, Owner of A-Bell Alarms and YouTube Coach and creator of the YouTube Channel: Security Pro Insights.
  • The 5 Cs of Credit: Building Your Financial Foundation (Tuesday, April 22, 2025): This workshop will give attendees the tools to boost their credit and access funding with confidence by providing a breakdown of the key factors' lenders look at when evaluating creditworthiness. This workshop will be held in collaboration with the Inland Empire Women's Business Center.
  • 10-Hour OSHA Training and Certification (Thursday, April 24, 2025): This two day, 10-hour certification course is for entry-level workers who need to earn their official Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 card in construction. Workers with this credential will have the knowledge and skills that will help prevent injuries and keep workplaces safe and productive. Key Topics will include Introduction to OSHA, Walking and Working Surfaces, Personal Protective Equipment, Material Handling, Machine Guarding, and more! The workshop series will be held in collaboration with Barrett Business Services, Inc.
  • Intro to Networking and Relationship Building (Thursday, April 24, 2025): This workshop targets entrepreneurs who are seeking to expand their customer base, collaborate with partners, or nurture valuable connections within their industry. Attendees will delve into strategies, techniques, and best practices to help cultivate and leverage relationships for business growth and success. This workshop will be held in collaboration with the Inland Empire Women's Business Center.
  • EATS (starts Thursday, April 24, 2025): EATS is asix-week program that is designed for small business owners or individuals who would like to start their own food or beverage venture. The SBDC EATS program will guide attendees through formalizing their business and building strategies for long-term success. This program will be held in collaboration with the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center.
  • Ready, Set, Retail (starts Thursday, April 24, 2025): Ready, Set, Retail is a four-week program that is designed for small business owners or individuals who would like to start their own venture. The Ready, Set, Retail program will guide attendees through formalizing their business and building strategies for long-term success. This program will be held in collaboration with the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center.
