President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a video call with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (Republican Party) and U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (Democratic Party).

The Head of State briefed them on Russia's combined attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure - hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles every day, deliberately timed right now, during such a bitterly cold winter.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that missiles for air defense are the top priority and that our country counts on the support of its partners.

"We see many various factors that make Putin - and, by extension, all of Russia - significantly weaker. It is crucial to maximize every possible form of pressure to finally force the Russians to end this war," the President said.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state of the senators' sanctions bill, which can have a substantial impact on the positions of the Russian Federation and all those aiding it in this war.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also spoke about the progress of contacts with envoys of U.S. President Donald Trump. The sides are very close to finalizing the documents.

The Head of State commended the senators' position on the importance of security guarantees for Ukraine and their continued bipartisan support in the United States Congress.

The sides agreed to continue their dialogue and discuss all issues at an in-person meeting in the near future. The President thanked them for their bipartisan support.
