East Charleston Boulevard Storm Drain Improvements Begin January 2026

Work And 24-Hour Lane Restrictions From Betty Lane to Yew Avenue

Starting today and continuing through the end of May 2026, storm drain repairs and drop inlet construction will impact westbound East Charleston Boulevard between Yew Avenue and Betty Lane (on both sides of Nellis Boulevard). Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The completion schedule will depend on weather and equipment availability.

Traffic will be restricted to two travel lanes for westbound Charleston from Betty Lane to Yew Avenue. Motorists should expect delays. Sahara Avenue and Stewart Avenue are recommended as alternate routes for westbound traffic and Marion Drive is recommended for north/south travel.

Las Vegas Paving is the contractor. The city of Las Vegas is managing the project. The estimated cost of the work is $400,000. For questions or concerns during the project, call 702.353.4397 or email [email protected].
