TRAFFIC ALERT: Overnight lane closures on I-49 in Cass County for pavement work, May 6-7

CASS COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct overnight lane closures on I-49 for pavement work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Wednesday, May 6 until Thursday, May 7 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

  • Crews will conduct lane closures on southbound I-49 at mile marker 164.6 south of MO C.
  • Crews will conduct lane closures on southbound I-49 at mile marker 162.4 south of Overpass Road.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
