EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., July 30, 2026 - Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Windsong Country Estates, a 70-unit townhome community. The property sold for $12.8 million, or $182,857 per unit.
"This transaction marks the end of a 37-year ownership period by the original development group and the first time Windsong Country Estates has been acquired by a single owner," said Abe Roberts, senior managing director investments. "The property's history, combined with its desirable Eden Prairie location and townhome-style design, generated significant investor interest. Demand for high-quality suburban multifamily assets remains strong, and unique communities like Windsong continue to attract competitive bidding."
Roberts, Michael Jacobs and Tommy Hartwell, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Minneapolis office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer, Irving properties.
Windsong Country Estates, located at 8254 Windsong Drive in Eden Prairie, consists of 70 townhome-style residences across 17 buildings on approximately 9.5 acres. The property is situated along the Purgatory Creek bike path with convenient access to Interstates 494 and 212. It is within walking distance of the Southwest Transit Station and the future Southwest Light Rail line, providing connectivity throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
