Cendrillion Opera
Pauline Viardot's opera "Cendrillon" is a charming and lyrical adaptation of the classic Cinderella fairy tale. Composed in 1904, this delightful chamber opera showcases Viardot's talent for creating captivating melodies and character-driven narratives. The story follows the familiar journey of the mistreated Cinderella, her magical transformation, and her eventual triumph over adversity to find true love. Join Wingate's Opera Theater for performances Friday, November 1 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 2 at 2:30 p.m.
