Caltrans Night Work Through Late September

Caltrans will begin overnight work on Monday, August 31, 2026, through late September that will include intermittent ramp and intermittent lane closures along Highway 101 from Salinas to South Monterey County, and Highway 1. The work will be between the hours of 7PM - 6AM and may result in traffic delays and detours in and around Salinas.

Remember to please slow down, give yourself extra time, follow all directional signs, and watch for personnel.

US 101 Salinas ramps include:

  • Northbound offramp to Abbott Street
  • Northbound offramp to Roy Diaz St./De La Torre
  • North/Southbound offramp to Kern St./Market St.
  • Southbound offramp to Airport Blvd.
  • Southbound offramp to Sanborn Ave.
  • North/Southbound offramp to N. Main St./SR 183
