The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is investigating a fatal crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
On Friday August 21, at 7:00 p.m., LPD and emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of NW 1st Street and W. Grand Drive on the report of a crash involving two motorcycles.
The preliminary investigation determined that two motorcycles were driving southbound on NW 1st Street near W. Grand Drive when they were involved in a collision. One driver suffered minor injuries, while the other driver was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. Around 11:30 p.m., the 33-year-old driver at the hospital succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
