Police investigate vehicle-pedestrian collision

At approximately 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision involving a school bus near the 6400 block of Quinpool Road in Halifax. At the time of the collision, the school bus did not have any children on board. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by EHS with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the school bus was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.
