Bismarck Police Department Honors Five Officers in Promotion Ceremony

BISMARCK, N.D. - The Bismarck Police Department held a promotion ceremony today recognizing five officers for the exceptional leadership, professionalism, and dedication to serving Bismarck residents.

"These promotions represent dedication, leadership and the strength of our organization," said Chief Stugelmeyer." Each individual earned their new rank through hard work and commitment to our mission and values."

The following officers were recognized and promoted:

  • Deputy Chief Roger Marks - Promoted from Lieutenant to Deputy Chief of Field Services. He will command the Patrol, Investigations, and Traffic Divisions.
  • Lieutenant Jeremy Curtis - Promoted from Sergeant to Lieutenant. He has been assigned to command a patrol shift.
  • Lieutenant Brandon Rosen - Promoted from Sergeant to Lieutenant. He has been assigned to command a patrol shift.
  • Sergeant Jeremy Seeklander - Promoted from Officer to Sergeant. He has been assigned to supervise detectives within the Investigations Division.
  • Sergeant Klaes "Sheldon" Welch - Promoted from Officer to Sergeant. He has been assigned to supervise a patrol shift.
