PSC Sets Intervention Deadline for Evergy Application to Extend Demand Response Programs for Nucor Steel

The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) set an intervention deadline of January 9, 2026 , for a case filed by Evergy Missouri West, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri West to extend demand response programs to Nucor Steel Sedalia, LLC.

On December 18, 2025, Evergy Missouri West filed an application requesting the Commission approve Nucor's participation in any demand response programs the company offers, including the Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act (MEEIA) demand response programs.

Applications to intervene and participate should be filed with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102-0360, or by using the Commission's Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at psc.mo.gov.
