Dairyland's IT team continues to drive innovation and continuous improvement for our organization and co-ops as a whole. Their latest innovation, Jarvis, named after Marvel's Ironman Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistant, is designed to make accessing information faster and easier for employees.
The new Agentic AI implementation (uses VoltWrite as a "brain" for the agent to use and operate autonomously) was developed with Dairyland's field staff in mind. After getting feedback that inputting information into Voltwrite isn't always the most efficient process for their teams, they saw an opportunity to develop a language-based tool accessible with only a phone call.
Jarvis has the ability to answer operational questions, draft emails, summarize data and more. Enterprise Solutions Architect Vladimir Tsoy explained, "Jarvis isn't about replacing jobs, it's about enhancing how we work, so we can focus more on serving our members and communities."
Director, IT Application Services Tom Paulson and Vladimir Tsoy recently presented at North Carolina's Statewide Cooperative Technology Conference and Expo, highlighting AI at Dairyland and giving a glimpse into how Jarvis can support our day-to-day roles. Jarvis is expected to be deployed by Q2 2026 with use cases for this new tool still being explored and developed.
