Placer County Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

Placer County and the Placer County Air District are currently developing the 5-year update to the Placer County Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) and seek the public's input. The LHMP is a multi-jurisdictional plan that identifies disasters and hazards and proposes mitigation measures to reduce the County's vulnerability. The planning process includes conducting a thorough hazard vulnerability analysis, creating community disaster mitigation priorities, and creating subsequent mitigation actions and projects for the county and participating municipalities. The public is invited to attend upcoming public outreach events and provide input and feedback on the proposed plan.
