WATER MAIN BREAK: East Collins Boulevard near Yale Elementary

Crews are responding to an emergency water main break on East Collins Boulevard between Yale Boulevard and Elk Grove Drive.

The break is causing a temporary water outage impacting Yale Elementary School and surrounding neighborhoods in the Yale Park area. The City is coordinating with Richardson ISD while emergency repairs are underway.

Nearby residents may experience temporary water outages as repair crews localize the break for repairs. Repairs are expected to be completed by the end of the day today, with Yale Elementary expected to return to normal operations Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Please use caution when traveling through the area while crews are working.
