Everyone is invited to join city of Las Vegas Ward 3 Councilwoman Olivia Diaz for the groundbreaking celebration for a new dog park in Ward 3. Located at 4484 W. Washington Ave., adjacent to the East Las Vegas Family Park on East Washington near Lamb Boulevard, the dog park will include three fenced dog runs, each with landscaping, lighting, shade structure, seating, dog waterers, concrete walkways and a perimeter fence. See the site map.

"Many families living near the East Las Vegas Family Park have asked for a dog-friendly place for their dogs," said Councilwoman Diaz. "I am thrilled that this project now will be in the construction phase, and that we're one step closer to a wonderful dog park for our residents and furry loved ones to enjoy."

JNJ Engineering Construction will build the park for an estimated cost of $1,648,989, to come from the city of Las Vegas general fund. No traffic disruptions are anticipated during construction. Completion is expected in July 2026.
