The University of Toledo Ritter Planetarium will present two programs in March: "Out There: The Search for Extra Solar Worlds" and "Magic Globe: A Story of Seasons."

"Out There: The Search for Extra Solar Worlds" explores the thousands of planets that orbit stars other than the sun in our Milky Way, including the techniques astronomers use to find these hidden worlds using both space-based and terrestrial observatories.

It will screen at 7:30 p.m. Fridays through March 27.

"Magic Globe: A Story of Seasons" is an animated children's program that weaves science lessons into the story of a young girl who finds a powerful piece of machinery.

It will screen at 1 p.m. Saturdays through March 28.

Admission to planetarium shows is $8 for adults and $6 for children, senior citizens and UToledo community members. Children ages 3 and younger are free. Parking is free in Area 1N within 45 minutes of the beginning of planetarium shows.
