Boise State selected for U.S. State Department’s Diplomacy Lab program

Boise State University is expanding opportunities for hands-on, real-world learning by participating in the U.S. State Department's Diplomacy Lab program. Through this program, student teams will have the chance to work on projects related to foreign policy, proposed by embassies and State Department units. The teams make bids on the projects, which will be undertaken the following semester. The winning student team then creates a presentation that answers the particular project questions through extensive research guided by faculty and the vision of the embassy/unit proposing the project. Projects for the fall semester will be announced in late February 2026.

More than 60 colleges and universities across the U.S. participate in the Diplomacy Lab, and Boise State will be one of the newest participants in Fall 2026. Learn more at diplomacylab.org.
