Capital City Fire Rescue (CCFR) is looking for 24 community volunteers to act as mock patients for their large-scale Mass Casualty Incident exercise at Juneau International Airport on Saturday, July 11 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Those interested in volunteering should contact Deputy Chief Theresa Ross at [email protected] before Tuesday, July 7.
Volunteer Requirements:
The exercise will take place rain or shine. Food, snacks, and refreshments will be provided to all volunteers.
CCFR thanks all those interested in participating in this exercise. The simulation allows CCFR to test the department's ability to respond to a major aircraft incident. Volunteers play an essential role in helping emergency responders practice patient triage, treatment, transportation, and more.
To volunteer, contact Deputy Chief Theresa Ross at [email protected] before Tuesday, July 7.
