Shahin Meets Head of Canada's Representative Office to Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Shahin met on Monday with Graham Datles, Head of Canada's Representative Office to the State of Palestine, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation following the recent upgrade in diplomatic representation between the two countries.

Shahin highlighted the importance of building on Canada's recognition of the State of Palestine to deepen cooperation across various sectors. She also expressed appreciation for Canada's humanitarian support and called for greater efforts to deter Israeli settlements and settler violence against Palestinians.
