WHAT: The COUNTRY Financial High School Scholarship program provides equitable access for McLean County public high school students to enroll in tuition-based college courses at Heartland Community College, while attending high school for dual enrollment or dual credit.
Eligible sophomore and junior year high school students from Bloomington, Heyworth, Lexington, Normal Community, Normal West, Olympia, Ridgeview, Tri-Valley and University public high schools are encouraged to apply.
The scholarship program not only provides monetary support, but also mentorship from COUNTRY Financial employees, as well as professional development and engagement opportunities, offering students the opportunity to learn and experience the organization and financial services industry. Scholarship will cover tuition, fees, a laptop and textbooks.
The COUNTRY Financial High School Scholarship program began in 2021 with 10 students participating; 31 students benefited in 2024.
