HIGHLIGHTS:
ON THE SAVE AMERICA ACT:
"It's frustrating. Democrats want it, Republicans want it, Independents want it," said Senator Scott. "The Democrat [senators] don't want it because they want the fraud. So, the only way it's going to happen is we have to either do the talking filibuster or get rid of the filibuster. The filibuster was never supposed to be used to stop legislation and nominations."
ON IRAN:
"[President Trump] has the job of Commander in Chief, and his responsibility is to protect American lives," said Senator Scott. "So, are we supposed to wait until a nuclear weapon goes off in New York City? Is that what we should do, then we can go to war? Or should we do it when we know they want to get a nuclear weapon and destroy you and me and our families? Should we do it now or wait until the nuclear weapon goes off? I think we ought to do it now, and that's what he's done, and he's done everything he can to make sure we don't put our troops at risk."
ON AMERICA-CHINA RELATIONS:
"[China] has elected to be our enemy…Think of how many Americans they've killed with fentanyl. They tried to destroy all of our companies, right? They're threatening our allies," said Senator Scott.
"Do you realize that almost all of our drugs, our generic drugs, the ingredients come from China? Do you think that's safe? It's not safe. You trust them? If there's another crisis [you think] that they will send us the drugs we need? I mean, we all, as Americans have to save ourselves."
In October 2025, Senator Rick Scott, as Chairman of the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging, released an investigative report titled "Protecting Seniors' Access to Essential Medications: Securing the Foreign Generic Pharmaceutical Supply Chain." The report underscores America's dangerous overreliance on foreign-made generic drugs, which are vastly imported from Communist China and India.
