Matt Whitehead named EVP at Governmental Policy Group

Governmental Policy Group & RH Resources (GPG/RHR) is proud to announce changes to the leadership of the firm.

Governmental Policy Group, Inc. was founded February 1, 1988, by the late Brooke Cheney as an
independent lobbying firm representing associations and corporations before the Ohio General
Assembly and the State of Ohio.

Victor Hipsley, current President and Chief Executive Officer, is pleased to announce Matthew Whitehead has been promoted to Executive Vice President, named partner and his successor of the firm. Mr. Whitehead is a twenty-five year government affairs veteran. He began his career working as an Ohio Legislative Service Commission Fellow, then as an aide in the Ohio House of Representatives, and as a Legislative Liaison for the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. Whitehead earned his bachelor's degree from Xavier University and joined GPG in 2006 where he has held various positions of leadership with the firm.
