I-5/SR-15 Connectors Closed Evenings August 23 - 24

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans will close the southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) connector to northbound State Route 15 (SR-15) on Sunday, August 23, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. Caltrans will also close the northbound I-5 connector to northbound SR-15 on Monday, August 24 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement work.

Motorists on the southbound I-5 headed to the northbound SR-15 will continue south and exit at W 8th Street, turn left onto the northbound I-5 on-ramp, and connect to northbound SR-15.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
