ICE Washington, DC arrests criminal illegal alien charged with felony sex crimes in Virginia

MANASSAS, Va. - ICE Washington, D.C. arrested a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador charged with four counts of aggravated sexual battery and driving while intoxicated in Virginia. Officers apprehended Luis Alfonso Garcia-Jimenez Sept. 2. in Manassas.

Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin's leadership, sanctuary cities are no longer a safe haven for the worst of the worst, such as child predators and sex offenders. The president's directive to ICE has been clear: find any and all criminal illegal aliens and deport them, making our nation more secure and our communities safer.

"Luis Alfonso Garcia-Jimenez is a suspected sexual predator who poses a significant threat to the members of our Northern Virginia communities," said ICE Washington, D.C. Field Office Director Robert Guadian. "Garcia-Jimenez has been charged with four counts of aggravated sexual battery in addition to convictions for DWI and public order crimes. The officers of ICE Washington, D.C. cannot allow someone like that to roam our streets. Arresting and removing criminal alien offenders like this is exactly what prioritizing public safety looks like."

Garcia-Jimenez illegally entered the United States on an unknown date, at an unknown location and without being inspected, admitted or paroled by a U.S. immigration official.

Manassas police arrested Garcia-Jimenez Dec. 24, 2016, and charged him with DWI. The Prince William General District Court convicted Garcia-Jimenez of DWI March 20, 2017, and sentenced him to 30 days in prison and imposed a fine. The Prince William County Sheriff's Office arrested Garcia-Jimenez again March 6, 2026, and charged him with four counts of felony aggravated sexual battery.

Upon his apprehension, ICE officers entered Garcia-Jimenez into removal proceedings. Garcia-Jimenez will receive due process and remain in ICE custody pending the outcome of those proceedings.
