Lima Memorial Foundation Holds A Journey to Discover

On Thursday, October 1, friends of the Lima Memorial Foundation will gather in Delphos for a A Journey to Discover, an evening where every turn sparks curiosity and reveals what's possible when innovation and philanthropy come together. Guests will explore curated spaces filled with unexpected moments, engaging entertainment, elevated cuisine and immersive storytelling, with opportunities to participate in silent and live auctions, all while helping shape the future of cancer care in our region.

"Every day, I see the difference generosity makes in the lives of the patients and families we serve," shares Lynn Carpenter, President & CEO of Lima Memorial Health System. "When our community gives through the Lima Memorial Foundation, it helps make new possibilities in health care a reality, right here, close to home."

The support of our community will power the magic behind this year's event, culminating in a fund-a-need paddle raise to help establish a High-Risk Breast Clinic and expand access to leading-edge technology for lung cancer treatment at Lima Memorial. These investments will advance earlier detection, personalized prevention and innovative treatment, bringing advanced cancer care, hope and life-changing possibilities closer to home for patients and their families.

"Chances are, we all know someone whose life has been affected by a cancer diagnosis," shares Jan Hawk, Chair of the Lima Memorial Foundation Board. "It's wonderful seeing our community come together to ensure our loved ones have access to the care they need in their own community."
