The Mindful Monday for Oct. 27 is a reflection on sitting with difficult feelings: Not every thought needs a reaction. Some just need release. This reminds me of author and podcaster Mel Robbins's "Let Them" theory, a mindset tool for accepting that we cannot control other people's actions and reactions. When we let the actions of other people dictate our mood and mindset in negative ways, we are giving up our emotional autonomy. So if someone disagrees with you, let them without letting it ruffle your feathers. If someone cuts you off in traffic, let them without letting it raise your blood pressure. Find peace in letting go.
