Employment-Based Initial Teacher Education Funding Award#

The Kaupapa Māori and Māori-medium Employment-Based Initial Teacher Education (EBITE) Funding Award supports those on a Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) to train as a teacher. Financial support is available for the LAT holder and their kura.

Applications are now open and will close on Thursday, 1 October. There are up to 65 places available for study in the 2027 cohort.
