Since the government shutdown started on Oct. 1, 2025, NATCA President Nick Daniels has appeared - sometimes multiple times - on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, ABC World News Tonight, NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, BBC World News America, LiveNOW from Fox, ABC News Live, Hearst TV, Spectrum News, National Public Radio, and PBS News Hour.

He also has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Reuters, and the Associated Press. Daniels also participated in a press conference organized by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy at Newark Airport that was broadcast live on C-SPAN.
