The City of West Hollywood is accepting applications for its newly formed Business Task Force, a volunteer advisory working group dedicated to supporting the vitality of West Hollywood's diverse business community. The deadline to apply is Friday, August 1, 2025, at 5 p.m. Additional information is provided on the City's website and there is an application form here: go.weho.org/businesstaskforce.
The City's Business Task Force will serve as an advisory working group that will bring together business owners, industry professionals, and community leaders to provide input on business recovery, economic development strategies, and long-term economic resiliency.
The City of West Hollywood is committed to advancing economic opportunities for its businesses and workers, ensuring that local enterprises are equipped to thrive in a rapidly changing economic landscape. The Business Task Force will be a key step in identifying actionable solutions to improve the local business climate and support entrepreneurship, innovation, and workforce development.
The Business Task Force will consist of nine (9) individuals who represent a wide range of industries and business types in West Hollywood, including but not limited to: restaurants and bars; hotels and tourism; retail; design; artists and arts organizations; and personal care services. Business Task Force members will be selected through an interview process conducted by City staff. The final composition of the Business Task Force will reflect the diverse voices, experiences, and industries that make up West Hollywood's business community.
The Business Task Force is a limited-time volunteer advisory working group. Meetings are tentatively scheduled to take place in-person/virtually on the second Wednesday of each odd-numbered month at 2 p.m. on: September 10, 2025; November 12, 2025; January 14, 2026; March 11, 2026; May 13, 2026; and July 8, 2026.
