Court Status and Administrative Order 2025-02

Friday, November 14, 2025

With the passage of the appropriations bill on November 12, 2025, the Court is returning to full staffing and full operational capability. While we maintained full operational tempo during the lapse in appropriations, we operated at reduced staffing. We hope that the experience was transparent to our customers. However, please bear with us as we return to full operational capacity. If any issues arise with a case you are a party to, please do not hesitate to contact the Clerk's Office and speak with a case manager or a supervisor. We are happy, as always, to assist.

Additionally, Chief Judge Carter has issued Administrative Order 2025-02 In re: Continuance of Certain Matters Due to Lapse in Federal Funding, which stayed certain adversary proceedings and extended certain deadlines involving the United States of America (through the U. S. Attorney for our District) which you can find here. The order extends those deadlines commensurate with the length of the lapse in appropriations, which is 43 days commencing November 13, 2025.
